Portfolio-based assessment
I'm trying out a new method of assessment for my Bio and Chem classes. I am somewhat apprehensive, albeit hopeful, that this is the method that best matches my teaching philosophy. I've created a powerpoint about it, and am uploading it into my course sites, and am expective feedback from the students when they see it. I'll also be presenting it to the faculty execom in Wednesday's meeting, along with the MAEd proposal, and another proposal for Math in the Sciences. It's a heavy sem!
